ATHLETIC TRAINER · MS, LAT, ATC

Kyle Fisher,
MS, LAT, ATC.

Athletic trainer, former Division II football player, and part of the team at LTE Wellness Club. A career built on understanding movement, performance and recovery.

A CAREER BUILT ON UNDERSTANDING THE ATHLETE

He's been on both sides of the injury.

Kyle's path began on the field and track as a competitive high school football and track & field athlete in Pennsylvania — a record-setting sprinter who at one point ranked among the fastest athletes in the state. It also began with the other side of sport: recurring hamstring and groin strains and a lumbar spine fracture that limited his development.

Those experiences taught him early that performance isn't just about working harder — it takes a real understanding of movement, strength, recovery and how the body adapts. That realization became the foundation of his career.

FROM ATHLETE TO CLINICIAN

The playing chapter, and what ended it.

Kyle accepted a Division II football scholarship to Bloomsburg University, where he studied exercise science and became a four-year letter winner. After college he kept pursuing professional football: he recorded a 4.4-second 40-yard dash, trained in San Diego and Pittsburgh for his pro day, and earned tryouts with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints. A concussion sustained during that pursuit ended the playing chapter of his life.

His commitment to sport didn't end with it. Kyle returned to academia at Florida International University and earned his master's degree in athletic training, receiving the program's Golden Scissors Award in recognition of his attention to detail. He later pursued doctoral studies in rehabilitation science at Duquesne University and contributed to concussion research.

CAREER EXPERIENCE

A career across elite sport.

Collegiate athletics

At the University of Maine at Fort Kent, Kyle oversaw athletic coverage for five programs while coaching track & field and directing performance training. During his tenure the men's and women's soccer teams won national championships. At Lebanon Valley College he supported men's ice hockey and contributed to research on influenza outbreaks in athletic teams.

High school & clinics

At Belen Jesuit Preparatory School he developed injury-prevention strategies and improved concussion protocols across multiple programs. In Texas, he helped develop a private clinic as movement director, expanding his view of how movement-based care helps people beyond sport.

Elite athlete environments

Back in South Florida, Kyle served as Director of Rehabilitation at House of Athlete, supporting NFL Combine preparation and athletes across football, baseball, basketball and women's professional basketball, and led the rehabilitation department at Complex, contributing to an NBA offseason training environment.

Healthcare & community

At Memorial Sports Medicine he spent more than two years in business development and community outreach, building pathways between athletes, athletic programs and healthcare providers across South Florida.
