You do not need to walk in looking like a boxer. You need a clear starting point, a coach who understands your experience level and enough information to feel prepared.
Before class
Ask the team which session is appropriate for your experience. Class formats can differ between technique and conditioning, so knowing where you are going matters more than pretending you already know the sport.
What you may work on
Early instruction can include stance, movement, footwork, basic defense, combinations and conditioning. The exact session depends on the class and coach.
What to bring
The club should confirm current glove, wrap and equipment requirements before your visit. Avoid buying specialized gear until you know what the program recommends.
Competition is optional
LTE has a competition-development pathway, but joining a boxing class does not mean you are expected to compete or spar.
