SYNAPTIC SPORTS MEDICINE AT LTE WELLNESS CLUB

Movement
Analysis.

Watch, measure and understand how you actually move — so training and rehabilitation decisions are based on your movement, not a template. With Kyle Fisher, MS, LAT, ATC in Pembroke Pines.

WHAT IT INVOLVES

Your movement, observed with purpose.

A movement analysis session looks at how you perform the patterns that matter to your sport, your training and your day — things like squatting, hinging, lunging, single-leg control, overhead positions, and sport-relevant actions. Kyle observes quality and symmetry, measures what's measurable for your situation (such as range of motion and simple performance measures), and connects what he sees to your goals and history.

Who it may suit

Athletes who want a baseline or feel "off" in a movement, active adults with recurring tightness or one-sided issues, and anyone starting a new training block who wants to train around reality instead of assumptions.

What you get

A clear summary of findings, what they may mean for your training or rehab, and specific starting points — which can feed directly into rehabilitation or neuromuscular re-education.

Repeat assessment

Movement is re-assessed over time so you can see change against your own baseline, not someone else's chart.

WHAT MOVEMENT SCREENS CAN & CAN'T DO

Useful information.
Not a crystal ball.

It's worth being direct about the evidence: movement screening and analysis provide useful information for planning and tracking, but research does not support the idea that any movement screen precisely predicts who will get injured, or that it reveals every cause of pain. Movement findings are one input among several — alongside your history, strength, training load and goals — and that's exactly how they're used here. Beware of anyone selling a screen as a fortune teller.

Specific named test batteries or technologies aren't advertised on this page; the tools used in your session depend on what's appropriate for your situation and are explained to you as they're used.

Is this the same as a physical exam?

No. An orthopedic injury exam investigates a specific injury or pain complaint. Movement analysis looks at how you move more broadly — the two often complement each other.

Do I need to be injured to benefit?

No. Many sessions are about establishing a baseline, preparing for a season, or understanding a nagging asymmetry before it becomes a problem worth naming.
