You'll see big claims attached to soft-tissue techniques elsewhere — "breaking up scar tissue," "realigning fibers," "restoring circulation." The research doesn't support those mechanical stories, and this page won't tell them. What manual soft-tissue work demonstrably affects in studies is mostly how areas feel and move in the short term — the same honest territory described by the NIH's massage evidence overview: modest, mostly short-term benefits, low risk. Hands-on tools are used here because short-term change in comfort and motion creates a window to train — and the training is what lasts.
Instrument-assisted techniques are not advertised on this page; what's used in your session is explained to you as it's used.
